Yang:

The riot of colours in this month's Vogue Australia editorial shot in Mexico never fails as a pick-me-up:

The rest of the editorial (in slightly better quality) can be found here.

Speaking of Mexico, I'm quite enamoured of the two newest additions to my matchbox collection:
a soldier with hearts issuing from his gun & an assortment of masks; both images from Mexico printed onto plain matchboxes (2 for $5 at Glebe markets).

Lastly, these photos of Iceland by hound.design via Lovelorn Unicorn are just spectacular - especially the volcano crater; it seriously looks extra-terrestrial!

"Meteors all Night" in a Dress

*now i don't normally do fashion posts but these dresses from Christopher Kane's 09/10 resort collection are just jaw-droppingly brilliant, especially the first one.
the real thing is pretty stunning as well...

(picture taken by the Hubble telescope - no idea which nebula, sorry!)

COLOUR!!! WHEE!!!!

I am feeling VERY HYPER right now... (note the caps)
These Damien Hirst artworks are the ULTIMATE MANIFESTATION OF WHAT I FEEL!!! (Yes, the same Damien Hirst who put a shark in formaldehyde, painted the horns and hoofs of a calf with real 18K gold and preserved it in formaldehyde for good measure and created that skull totally encrusted in diamonds... so shiny... check out the Wikipedia link above if you haven't seen his artworks which sell for a squillion dollars a pop)

And I've just discovered the power of colour!
